My name is Steven and I live in South Dakota along the Missouri River. I like to play the guitar, listen to music, read, write letters using my computer.
I like to fish by boat, or shore.
I am a Deacon in the Catholic Church.
Retired from the Federal Government after thirty-three years of service.
Served in the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Army.
I fly the American and Marine Corps flag outside my home.
I am a Conservative which is rare for a Native American.
Keep up with the political issues.
I want to write about all the above topic’s at sometime as I gain more experience with writing skills.
Love to meet people and just converse with them, that is one of the reasons I decided to start my blog.

Well, Steve … I don’t even know what a Deacon is within the Catholic church, and I was raised a Catholic. I had aunts. uncles, cousins and even a sister in holy orders; and look at me now. Meaning, I’m an atheist. However, I’m not a proselytizing atheist, if you get my drift; I just don’t believe in god any more and that’s that. I admire your will to get writing and ‘meet’ people, and I know you will find lots and lots of them in the blogosphere who share your belief. I hope you meet them soon, so that you can get busy exchanging ideas and concepts and interests – this last of which you have a few, eh? – goodonyer! [grin]
Thank you for your reply and letting me know a little of your background. I love your candor and learning a little bit about your background. Is there anything else I have to do as far as participating in “Like it or Loath it”. I just want to gain experience is writing better and I am sure you are going to make this worthwhile.
